North East Youth Soccer Organization

General Information

NEYSO Organization is proud to offer San Antonio's premier recreational program for players U4-U14.  The recreation program is the base level program for NEYSO and is designed for players who are experiencing the game for the first time or players looking for a non-competitive avenue to enjoy the game.  Coaches are volunteer who receive coaching education from our Director of Recreation, Pete Palomino on a regular basis.

The primary goal for our recreation program is to instill a life-long love and passion for the game of soccer while teaching the basics of the game.

Xara Soccer will serve as the recreation program's uniform supplier as well as provide NEYSO with parent, coaching and club support through multiple programs.

U5/U6 Dinomite Program
The Dinomite Program is an 8 week, age specific program providing a step by step developmental guide for parents and coaches.  The curriculum is based around the adventures of Dino and his sister Deana and there are 3 principles that act as its foundation: Story Telling, Imagination, and Play.

All of the teaching points are integrated into games, stories, and play.  Each player is provided with their own Dinomites ball that becomes their soccer friend and helps them understand how to move the ball with a unique design showing the fundamental touch points of the ball.  Parents are encouraged and are actively involved in the learning process to develop a family friendly environment.
